The certified nursing assistant is responsible for assisting with resident care within their scope of practice as well as other work which supports the residents’ environment and home. The certified nursing assistant assists to ensure optimal resident care is provided. The certified nursing assistant assists the team to provide and maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for residents and tenants. Tasks include components of direct patient care, nutrition, observation, documentation, general maintenance of the residents’ environment, assuring resident safety and duties not specifically listed but logical to the position as directed by the supervisor.

Job Opening: Office Assistant:
The Office Assistant will assist in maintaining a good public relationship that serves the best interest of the facility. This include answering incoming telephone calls, assisting in the filing system, assisting in performing computer/data entry as necessary in the varies areas of the facility, assist in human resources task and duties, assist in providing information to residents/families/employees as necessary and/or refer to the appropriate department. The Office Assistant will assist in implementing the day-to-day functions of the office as well as any other related duties and responsibilities that may become necessary or as directed by the Administrator. The omission of specific statement of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or is a logical assignment to the position.
The Office Assistant is responsible for attending and participating in scheduled training and educational programs. The Office Assistant is also to ensure resident safety
The Office Assistant must possess a high school diploma. A minimum of 1-year experience in general office duties and client services. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. The Office Assistant must be able to deal tactfully and professionally with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies as required. The Office Assistant must possess the ability to function independently, have personal integrity, have flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies. The Office Assistant must have a working knowledge of computers and basic office equipment. This job may require you to lift/move items that weights at least 50 pounds.

RN/LPN:

As the nurse, you will assist in the supervision and administration of quality nursing care for the facility. Furthermore, you will assist in maintaining a physical, social, and psychological environment which will be conducive to the best interest and welfare of the residents and tenants.
Required Active Iowa Board of Nursing License.
Transportation Specialist:
Opportunities include:
- Responsible for safety of residents being transported to and from doctor appointments and special events.
- Availability- as needed (Often Hours occur between Monday- Friday 7am-4pm; however, nights and weekend may occur)
- Driver is to stay with resident at appointment and when necessary taking them to the different areas of hospital or to help check them into the hospital.
- Reports routine maintenance to ensure proper maintenance is keep on the vehicle and to ensure appointment is set.
- Assuring resident safety.
- Driver is responsible for keeping the inside/outside of van clean.
- Ensure snack(s) along for diabetic residents/tenants and bottled water on hot days for resident comfort.
- Arrive at appointments on time, taking paperwork and returning all physicians’ visit information to the Nursing Department.
- It is a PRN position.
Maintain a valid driver’s license with a chauffeur endorsement and CPR certification.
