Retrieving Freedom presents to CNH Residents!

by Clarksville Skilled Nursing | Published August 14, 2015

Retrieving Freedom came to the Clarksville Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center to give a presentation on their service dogs. Retrieving Freedom located in Waverly in a non-profit organization that trains dogs to help disabled veterans and children with disabilities. The residents enjoyed seeing the service dog in action with the volunteer showing them some of the jobs he had been trained to do in order to become a service dog.
The Do-Gooders Club of CNH represented by April Langfritz and Betsy Schmitt donated money raised , to the Retrieving Freedom Organization to put towards costs in training the dogs. The CNH Do-Gooders Club continues to work on projects that give back to the community such as dog treats and supplies to local dog shelters.
